Following the amateurs, the women took to the streets for the Avante Salon Pro Women’s Criterium at the Iron Hill Twilight Criterium. A break containing Amy Cutler (FCS|Zngine p/b Mr. Restore), Kacey Lloyd (Fearless Femme p/b Pure Energy Cycling-Vie13) Laura Van Gilder (Mellow Mushroom p/b Pink Siren Sports) and Mary Zider (Colavita-Fine Cooking). The breakaway caught the back end of the field as they crossed the line with one lap to go for the leaders, two for the field. Since everyone finishes on the lead lap, there was some confusion, but quick action by an observant Christina Birch (Fearless Femme p/b Pure Energy Cycling-Vie13) got her sprinter Colleen Hayduk to the front to take the bunch sprint for fifth place. Van Gilder crossed the line to take the win, with Cutler, Lloyd, and Zider following close behind.
I’ve been shooting for the last three or four years, and have always thought it would be smart to have a site. With how many events I have been to this year, and the buzz my Scott Kingsley Photography Facebook page has created, it was finally the right time to go live.
I’d say the site is probably about 75% complete. It will never be totally complete, but there are still a few things I need to add, including an eCommerce portion where all of my pictures will be stored, and you can purchase files, prints, and many other products. Don’t worry though, I’ll still post some of the better pictures to Facebook and tag you in them.
You can keep track of my shoots at the Upcoming Events Page, which I will try to keep updated as the year rolls on. Be sure to also subscribe to receive an email when I post new galleries.
So let me know what you think. What should I add? What should I change? What do you like/dislike?
